The Homeowners Association Rules and Guidelines are designed to keep the neighborhood safe and enjoyable for all residents. All that we want is a Shady Lane. The following list contains regulations that should be followed by all homeowners:

1) All exterior paint and landscaping must be approved by the board of directors;

2) No alterations or additions may be made to the exterior of the home without prior HOA Board approval;

3) Pets must be kept on a leash shorter than 8 feet when outside;

4) No loud noise after 8:30 pm;

5) Trucks must be parked in garage and are not allowed to be visible from the street;

6) Sidewalk Chalk is prohibited;

7) Lawns must be watered regularly out of BPA-free containers;

8) No signs, banners, or flags may be displayed without prior HOA Board approval;

9) No open burning without prior HOA Board approval;

10) No fences may be erected without prior HOA Board approval.

11) All trash must be disposed of properly in trash bags no larger than 15 gallon;

12) Pool noodles are only allowed in the pool when used for flotations devices. Pool noodles may not be shared between people;

13) Music with explicit lyrics may not be played outdoors;
14) No outside pets allowed in the community;
15) Overnight guests are not allowed to park on the street;
16) Smoking is strictly prohibited from being seen from the street. Any members who are documented to be smoking in view from the street will be fined accordingly;

17) Seances, rituals, pentagram imagery, warlocks, and Ouija boards are not allowed in the community without HOA Board approval. 
18) No planting of trees or shrubs without prior permission;
19) The park is open from Dusk to Dawn;

20) No visible signs of vandalism;
21) All exterior lights must be turned off by 11pm;
